General Information:

The coordinators of the Thematic Axs will be responsible for evaluating the abstracts submitted for communication, dividing the presentations, and mediating. If the Thematic Axis does not reach the minimum of 5 registered participants, the proposers will be directed to another Thematic Axis.

To receive more guidance on how communications will take place in the Thematic Axes.Click herethe sessions of the Thematic Axs will take place between May 25 and 28 in the afternoon (2 PM to 6 PM), all broadcast live on the MITECHIS YouTube channel.

Submissions of abstracts and communications to the Thematic Axs can be made in four languages: Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish.

All participants in the Thematic Axs will have direct access to the organizers of each axis thru a WhatsApp group.

All information regarding dates, times, and broadcast links will be made available by May 20, 2026.
The deadline for submitting the abstract and proof of payment of the registration fee via the form is May 5, 2026.
Standards for submitting communication proposals:

Attention to the correct filling of all fields in the registration form, especially in the "Name" and, when applicable, "Title of the Work" fields, to avoid errors in the issuance of certificates.

Each paper can be presented by up to three (3) co-authors. All authors must register and pay the fee according to their qualifications (Value Table).

Basic Education students and/or undergraduates must necessarily submit with researchers who are doctoral students or doctors, both must register and pay the registration fee.

The correct filling out of the email is also of fundamental importance for the contact between the organizers and the participants.

The information regarding the abstract is included in the registration form.
REGISTRATIONS THRU THE FORM HERE
Fill in your details - correct name and email - to register for the Event's Thematic Axs and subsequently make the payment to confirm your registration, which will guaranty the waiver of the listener's fee.
We emphasize that certification will only be issued upon signing the attendance lists to be made available on the days and times of the event via the YouTube chat.
Note: In the case of co-authored works, each author MUST pay the registration fee and complete the registration form. If one of the authors does not complete and pay the registration fee by the end of the registration period, they will be automatically excluded from the authorship.
NOTE 2: Each registration (completion of the form and payment of the registration fee) entitles the participant to present only ONE communication in the Thematic Axs and submit only ONE text for publication in the Event Proceedings. If the researcher is interested in presenting more than one communication, they must pay a new registration fee and complete another form.

RULES FOR SUBMITTING THE FULL TEXT
The papers presented at the IV International Congress on Digital Humanities, Culture, and Education (IV CIHDCE) & V National Symposium on Media, Technologies, and History (V SNMTH) will be published as articles in a Special Edition of the journal Convergências: estudo em Humanidades Digitais (CONEHD) Qualis B2 (2021-2024).

Guidelines for submitting texts for the
Dossier of the Proceedings of the IV CIHDCE & V SNMTH:

Texts must be submitted between April 30, 2026, and July 30, 2026;

Authors must register for the event and present their paper;
-
Co-authored presentations: both authors must register for the event and pay the registration fee;

Texts must be submitted through the CONEHD Journal submission system;

Please note that all texts submitted to the CONEHD journal are screened for plagiarism;

Texts may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, in accordance with the spelling standards in force in each case. Texts must be accompanied by an abstract and keywords in the language of the text and versions in two other foreign languages. All articles must be formatted according to the journal's style sheet.

Cada texto será enviado para dois pareceristas ad hoc que emitirão parecer sobre os trabalhos, aprovando-os ou sugerindo as alterações que julgarem necessárias. Em caso de um parecer ser favorável e outro contrário, o trabalho será enviado a um terceiro membro da Comissão Científica ou a um parecerista ad hoc;

Depois da análise, os trabalhos serão devolvidos às autoras ou autores, juntamente com cópia dos pareceres. Os trabalhos que requererem alterações serão encaminhados para procederem às modificações sugeridas e, num prazo de trinta dias, os textos corrigidos devem ser enviados de volta à Revista;

Haverá uma segunda (ou terceira) rodada(s) de avaliação para todos os trabalhos para os quais os pareceristas requisitaram revisão;

Será permitida a publicação de um artigo por autor(es) ou coautor(es) em cada número da revista.
• Each text will be sent to two ad hoc reviewers who will issue an opinion on the works, approving them or suggesting any changes they deem necessary. In the event of one opinion being favorable and another unfavorable, the work will be sent to a third member of the Scientific Committee or to an ad hoc reviewer;
• After analysis, the works will be returned to the authors, together with a copy of the reviews. Works that require changes will be forwarded for the suggested modifications to be made, and within thirty days, the corrected texts must be sent back to the Journal;
• There will be a second (or third) round of evaluation for all papers for which the reviewers have requested revision;
• One article per author(s) or co-author(s) will be allowed to be published in each issue of the journal.
